What is a legit way to make money online without any scams?

I am trying to make money, not give any away. So i don’t want any “pay this amount of money and then we’ll show you how to make $$.” I need a real legal way to make some money online until I can get a job in my college town.

There are really 3 ways to make money online.
1) People pay you to do things for them. Basically you are referred to some site to sign up for some sort of services, anything from signing up for a credit card to signing up for a netflix trial, and you get paid by that person that referred you. They make money by getting a referral, you, and will share some of it. People who are excellent at it can make some decent money, but only if you know what you are doing.
2) Freelance work. Hard to get into because people are all over it and the only way to get in is to be extremely underpaid until you build you reputation up. You have to be diligent in this to make it work.
3) Affiliate/Internet marketing. You promote someone’s product or services and if you can generate a sale you will get a commission. Simple to do, but can take awhile. This has the most potential for huge earnings, but takes some time.
Before you start anything, do some research on it. If you find a site that seems like a scam, just do a search on the site followed by the word scam and you should be able to come up with some reviews of the site.
The scams out their are the sites that state you will make thousands of dollars a day with just a couple of hours of work a week. It is just not possible to do that. Keywords to look out for are online data entry, envelope stuffing, rebate processing, reading emails for $25 each. Their are others, but these are the main ones.

Make a website or blog with Google Ads on it and each time an advert is clicked you get paid, unfortunately you are not allowed to click on the adverts yourself
All these ways you don’t have to place any money into, just your time.
